The Internal Medicine Residency Program at MountainView Hospital is a three-year categorical program recruiting 21 PGY-1 categorical residents each academic year. The program holds ACGME accreditation with 10-year continuing accreditation status since September 2018.
All applications from prospective allopathic and osteopathic residents must be submitted through the ERAS system. The program is part of the Sunrise Health Graduate Medical Education Consortium and welcomes international medical graduates. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Residents rotate through MountainView Hospital as the primary teaching site, as well as the VA Southern Nevada Health Care System, gaining broad exposure to inpatient medicine, geriatrics, addiction medicine, and hematology-oncology.
